617 WEDDINGS | Entertainment & Uplighting

we wanted!!! Jimmie came to us highly recommended from a friend and he did not disappoint. We had friends from out of state taking his card so they could use him for their events too. I would recommend Jimmie in a heart beat!!!

us feel relaxed throughout the entire process and was very communicative. He and the 617 staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Chuck was awesome at working through the schedule of the night and keeping things flowing smoothly. Several of our guests even came to find us specifically to tell us how good Chuck was at keeping the party going the entire night! We would recommend Chuck and 617 Entertainment to anyone and everyone planning their wedding!

had complete confidence in him every step of the way. He truly went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have been happier! I would recommend him over and over again without hesitation and would 100% use him again.

better than I ever could have dreamed of! The energy was incredible from start to finish. We had multiple guests tell us that this was the first wedding in years where they wanted to stay on the dance floor the entire night because of the music and energy. That honestly says it all! The cold sparklers during our entrance and first dance were also absolutely incredible and made those moments even more unforgettable. Everything was executed so perfectly and professionally. I cannot thank Aziz and his team enough for making our wedding so much fun and truly unforgettable. I’m SO glad I was able to give Aziz a few songs we loved and say, “I trust you to make the rest of the playlist!” — because he absolutely delivered. If you’re looking for a DJ who will listen to you, bring your vision to life, keep the energy HIGH, and have your guests dancing all night, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! We couldn’t recommend Aziz Idhamou and 617 Weddings more! ❤️

er groomsmen on site. He was incredibly helpful and had a stress free attitude that really helped keep us all cool. He got the party started and it never slowed down from there. His introductions for bridal party and events were also perfect. Overall, he did great on every level of the job and we are incredibly thankful for his professionalism and great personality. Thanks David!

y going, played the perfect mix of songs, and truly made our reception unforgettable. We would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a DJ who knows how to keep everyone dancing!

WAS ELECTRIC from start to finish, and it was hands down the best dance floor and the best night we could have ever asked for. He kept the energy up all night, knew exactly how to keep everyone engaged, and made sure the party never lost momentum. He also did an incredible job directing our bridal party and keeping everything flowing seamlessly throughout the night. Every transition felt effortless, and the entire evening ran exceptionally well. You could tell he knew exactly what he was doing and how to read the room. If you're getting married and want a DJ who brings the energy, keeps the night moving, and creates a party your guests will talk about long after the wedding, Jimmie Espo from 617 Weddings is your guy. We are so grateful he was such a huge part of the best night of our lives!!

He knows how to read the room, keep the energy going, and get everyone out on the dance floor. One thing that really stood out to me was that while dinner was still going on, my niece and nephew started dancing, and Nick actually came over to ask what song he could play for them. It was such a small but thoughtful gesture that showed how attentive he was to our guests and the overall experience. He kept everything running so smoothly throughout the entire night, and we never had to worry about what was happening next. He was also incredibly communicative, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the planning process. If you’re looking for a DJ who will keep your wedding flowing, get your guests dancing, and genuinely care about making your night special, I cannot recommend DJ Nick Stamz and 617 Weddings enough! We are so grateful he was part of our wedding day!

David to plan timing, introductions, and the first dances - David took this and executed perfectly. We also utilized 617 Weddings website to input a handful of songs we love, like, and dislike. David used this and played a mix of songs that was perfect. We also used David for audio during the ceremony, he arrived right on time to set up and get our officiant get micd up. From our guests, the audio was perfect despite it being an outdoor ceremony

pt the evening moving smoothly, and brought a great energy to the dance floor. He was attentive and adapted seamlessly throughout the night. 617 Weddings also provided our ceremony violinist, photo booth, and uplighting, and everything came together perfectly. Having the full entertainment package handled by one team made planning simple and the wedding feel seamless. We highly recommend Chuck and 617 Weddings!

ing! Great communicator, easy to get in touch with, open to any suggestions I had and what I wanted! He brought my vision to life above and beyond and brought the best energy to our wedding! Everyone said how fun it was and how awesome he was we’re so thankful to have found him!!

the wedding day itself, Aziz was not only professional and tactical, but also very kind, funny, thoughtful and open to any preferences or requests we had while providing his input as needed. He is a people person and has a presence to him, which is exactly what you’d want in a DJ/MC. Not to mention he dresses well. I am not over exaggerating when I say he’s the full package. His DJ’ing and MC’ing skills are top notch. From an MC perspective, he knew our reception schedule like the back of his hand and executed every request we had made to make sure everything ran as planned. He prioritized us and the schedule while making sure the guests were having a blast. He took his job so seriously that he refused a meal to ensure the everything was on schedule and he was focusing on his job. He even picked up some trash from the dance floor throughout the night which was above and beyond his responsibilities. He also offered to set up our photobooth backdrop which was really nice of him. Aziz knew how to hype up the crowd and seamlessly transitioned from one scheduled event to another. He made sure the moments that should be calm and relaxing were, such as dinner, and the moments that should be high energy were in fact really high energy and excited the crowd. Now, from a DJ’ing perspective, he was phenomenal. He told us exactly how to organize the handful of playlists and had us fill out a form with the details and references to what songs should be played when. We provided him with the playlists and some requests and he mashed them up well and transitioned from Arabic, English, French and Spanish songs seamlessly. No abrupt breaks between songs. No awkward or out of place transitions. Just a very well thought out arrangement of our playlists with beautiful transitions that kept guests on the dance floor literally all night. Midnight came around and our guests wanted more. He cared so much about making sure we all had a good time that he allowed my wife and I as well as my best man and the maid of honor behind the DJ booth and showed us the controls so we ended up DJ’ing for a bit as well with his assistance. All in all, looking for a great MC? Go with Aziz. Looking for a great DJ? Also go with Aziz. You will not be disappointed.

amazed with how well he fit the music into the event. We had a party and he had people up dancing the whole time. We couldn’t have been happier with his work. Would highly recommend for any event you are planning!

king for perfectly - he also kept our guests on the dance floor all night (~170 people), including people who we never thought would dance! He completely understood our music preferences and made his playlist accordingly - we couldn’t ask for anything more! He also ensured perfect timing of each special moment throughout the night. Thank you, Jimmie!

ibly sentimental to me, and Julio handled every single one with so much care. One of the most meaningful moments was during my brother-sister dance, when I wanted to honor my father who passed away by playing a voice note of him before the dance. Julio made sure everything was timed perfectly and treated that moment with the care and respect it deserved. It meant more to me than I can put into words. Beyond those special moments, he understood the vibe we wanted for our reception and brought it to life. The music, energy, and transitions were amazing, and our guests had such a great time on the dance floor. We’re so grateful to DJ Julio for not only keeping the celebration going, but also for understanding how important the sentimental parts of our wedding were to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for such a special day! 🤍

one loved him and every song he played! If you are in the Boston area and looking for wedding vendors definitely reach out to 617 weddings they are very efficient at getting back to you and request Chuck for your DJ!

ld recommend him over and over again!  He got every single one of our guests on their feet to welcome us into our reception, he made us a personal logo that matched our colors, he made a video montage for us and even personally recorded our private dance because of videographers had left already!  I will forever recommend DJ Aziz at 617 weddings, especially if you want something memorable.

with and understood the unique needs we had as a gay couple. He kept the vibes high and helped create the best party of our life! Joe did it all with a smile and we could not be more grateful. From nailing the perfect entry and exit music for our ceremony, to ensuring the dance floor packed all night thank you for helping us create the best celebration of us!

ommunication, and adaptability, but Chuck fell short on all fronts: Communication & Preparation: Chuck sent a text message on the morning of our wedding to inform (only the groom) that our chosen processional song wasn't available. Waiting until the morning of the event to handle music availability forced unnecessary stress onto us when it should have been sorted out weeks in advance. He then approached the bride during photos with her father to sort it out. Not acceptable at all. Your poor planning doesn't qualify interrupting photos or lurking around. Lack of Attention to Detail: He missed key details during introductions, requiring us to stop and remind him in the moment. Spotify playlists that were requested were completely ignored/not incorporated. There was clunky music flow near the end of the night for our last song choice. Conversations in our final call were not executed, not documented and thus we were accused of them not happening. Zero Accountability: When we privately reached out after four attempts to give feedback about our disappointing experience, Chuck offered zero apologies. Instead, he made excuses, blamed other vendors/officiants, and condescendingly suggested our recollection of our own wedding was incorrect because he felt the energy was fine. A DJ shouldn't just play music; they should execute the day smoothly and listen to the couple's vision. Chuck’s defensive response post wedding showed a complete lack of professionalism. I would caution future couples to look elsewhere for someone who takes accountability and properly prepares. We have other examples and could go on but I think this clears the point to look elsewhere.

as led with how fantastic our DJ was. Even guests who don't typically dance were on the dance floor all night. Jimmie ensured that the entire night ran smoothly, from cocktail hour to the last song, and the uplighting that he installed truly enhanced the dance floor experience. Jimmie is experienced, professional, and has a skillful ability to read the room and play the hits. If you want a fun wedding dance floor, look no further! Jimmie is your guy!!

coordinate with to bring our vision to life. He really mixes and kept the energy on the dance floor up the whole night. Strongly recommend!

custom editing our first dance song. The dance floor energy was so fun all night. Joe did a great job incorporating our song requests throughout the night and kept the energy going!

stantly to last-minute questions by text, checking in with us before each part of the festivities, setting up our friend to sing our first dance song, rolling in the a song referenced in the welcome speech, incorporating our favorite video game soundtracks during dinner, adjusting the playlist when the entree was running late, and keeping the dancefloor packed from open to close. Even the shy friends and teenage cousins got out there and stayed. I forgot to eat any wedding cake because I also didn't want to stop dancing! Sam and I felt supported and heard throughout the planning process, and Nick reflected our taste while incorporating his experience and judgment. We feel really lucky to have worked with him.

ests. At one point our photographer even said "these have been fire transitions". Everyone loved the vibe, the music, and the uplighting we added in!

completely packed all night long. He perfectly read the room, played the right songs at the right times, and somehow kept every age group out there dancing. Planning was incredibly easy, communication was great, and he made the entire night feel effortless for us so we could actually enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about anything. We have had countless guests tell us it was one of the most fun weddings they’ve ever been to, and a huge reason for that was because of him. The energy, professionalism, transitions, announcements, and overall vibe were absolutely perfect. If you are debating booking him, stop debating and do it. Best decision we made for our wedding at Wychmere beach club!

aking the night feel like the most hyped up version of you. His planning portal was so helpful and made the process seamless, and he took the time to really get to know us and understand our preferences. Most importantly, the dance floor was everything we hoped for and more. I truly had the time of my life dancing all night, and Jimmie absolutely nailed the energy from start to finish. DJ Jimmie Espo is the best of the best.

ped that we shared a similar vibe, but beyond that, Paul was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and had a great sense of the room, throughout the entire event.  He was communicative from start to finish and made sure my husband and I were able to bring our vision to life.  He kept us informed every step of the way-even helping us navigate a few in law shenanigans along the way!  Paul brought an energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm that elevated the entire celebration.  He knew exactly when to keep things moving, when to let moments breathe, and how to keep our guests engaged and having fun.   I would highly recommend Paul for any event.   In fact, I'm already thinking of other parties to plan just so I can hire him again!  Thank you again Paul, for making the night so special! Cherell & Jay

hats, he always made time to touch base with us, answer questions, and give us great advice throughout the planning process, which made everything feel so much easier and stress-free. On the wedding day, he truly brought the whole room to life. Every single song we requested was played, and the energy on the dance floor never stopped. Our family and friends absolutely loved him, and so many guests kept talking about how amazing the music and atmosphere were. DJ Aziz created such a fun, happy, and unforgettable experience for everyone there. He left everyone smiling at the end of the night, and we are so grateful we chose him for our wedding. Highly recommend!

could be. Chuck took the time to plan with us. He made sure he understood our vision and executed on it flawlessly. There's so many things to think about on your wedding day but being able to let go of worrying about the music and the crowd was so freeing and genuinely allowed us to enjoy our day to the fullest. Chuck worked with our venue (The Owls Nest) and coordinated everything so that there were no awkward gaps in the reception and made sure to provide everything so that we could be heard crystal clear during our outdoor ceremony. I can't say enough great things about our experience with Chuck but the one thing I need to make sure they hear is "Thank You!!". The one question that sticks out in my mind from the wedding day is Chuck asking "Are you happy?" And he was ready to make sure he did whatever it took to ensure that the answer to that question was "YES!". If you have a wedding coming up and are looking for a DJ or videographer look no further!

long. The way he mixed Arabic and Spanish music was perfect. My guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the night was! From the first time we spoke over the phone to the very last day, he was so attentive, organized, and easy to work with. He made everything feel smooth and stress-free. I knew we were in good hands. You can tell he genuinely cares about making the night special, and he absolutely delivered. We had the BEST time and honestly couldn’t have imagined anyone better to get the party going for us. Thank you Aziz for making our wedding unforgettable!! Would highly recommend!

ck, and to say he was part of the family through the whole process goes without saying. He gets the bride and groom and the whole family and reads the crowd! He has great suggestions, he has the couple practice their first dance before everyone comes in and sets up a private last dance just for the couple with incredible lighting. He has a tremendous amount of energy and is non stop! He won't stop to eat!!! He is also full of lots of resources as well. We also used 617, Brendon for Video. He was amazing, so fun to work with too. He reminds you that the volume is on and in the raw footage it's hysterical! Less than a week later we had a 10 minute video and it is beautiful! He is great to work with and just a doll!

the celebration, and knew exactly how to keep the atmosphere fun and engaging from start to finish. Our wedding was multicultural, and he blended the music so seamlessly that every guest felt included and had an amazing time on the dance floor. Aziz was also such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. He was kind, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was exactly how I envisioned it. We had multiple phone calls going over the playlist, and he was always thorough, attentive, and full of great suggestions. He even customized my entrance song perfectly. It turned out even better than I imagined. One of my favorite personal touches was that he wore a pink shirt and pink shoes to match our wedding theme, which was such a thoughtful and fun detail. It really showed how much he cared. If you’re looking for a DJ who is talented, professional, and truly goes above and beyond, Aziz is the one. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

we were in good hands. We had a violinist for the ceremony and cocktail hour but he showed up early and provided amplification for our officiant. Chuck knows how to start a party and keep it going. He definitely brought the vibe and we had so much fun. We were told by multiple people (who have been to lots of weddings) that he was the best wedding DJ they've ever had. I can't recommend him enough- thanks Chuck!

s to get everyone dancing, country, throw back emo and all of our must plays!! He totally made the reception a complete party!

eading up to the event let us know we were taken care of before we even got started. Joey Sax is a MANDATORY add if you're looking to party! He really took the entertainment to another level. While we haven't seen our video yet, Brendan was a joy to work with and can't wait to see it! If you're getting married in the Northeast, you'd be crazy to not have 617 lead the way.

nication and even better vibes. He respected all of our requests and helped guide the night to have the best vibes all night!! He also went above and beyond to give my brother with down syndrome the opportunity to live out his dreams of being a dj by letting him help Chuck for a part of his set, such a great memory for everyone. Couldn’t recommend this company and Chuck more for your special day!!

run smoothly, and took the stress out of micromanaging during the event!! Would recommend him to anyone in the Boston area and beyond.

ncredible, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jimmie. The energy was unreal — the dance floor was packed all night long, and every song choice felt perfectly timed and totally us. Guests are still talking about how much fun they had and how amazing the music was. Jimmie brought the perfect balance of professionalism, personality, and hype, and he truly elevated the entire celebration. Our wedding would not have been the same without him, and we are beyond grateful. If you’re looking for a DJ who will make your night unforgettable, look no further.

rt in the industry. I knew I was in good hands after our phone call ahead of the wedding to finalize music details and event details. I trusted him to take care of our guests - keeping the party going with a playlist that was a hit for EVERYONE - from the younger kids to the older adults - we had people dancing all night. He was fantastic for our reception introductions, and he handled all our music requests with expertise. We had several compliments afterward about what a great DJ we had and how impressed they were. We also added the microphone service for our ceremony, and uplighting for the reception, which I HIGHLY recommend - Uplighting is such a game changer and it really elevated the mood and set the tone for dancing as well - Chuck had great suggestions about keeping the dinner part of the night lit with a candlelight-orange glow, and the dancing part mostly blues (our wedding colors), with some fun tricks like changing it to pink for ‘Pink Pony Club’. My husband and I as well as our guests had the best time with DJ Chuck Uglietta from 617 Weddings!! I would highly recommend him for any New England couple looking for a DJ.

man for the job. His energy level was unmatched and he was patient and extremely helpful answering our list of questions and special requests. Day of, DJ Mashup Charlie and Jimmie Espo were fantastic and received rave reviews from not only us, but all of our guests. Their warm demeanor made it feel like we had been friends for years. Our special day went perfectly, and I am confident in saying that Charlie and Jimmie played a big part in that. If you're looking for a DJ for any event, look no further!

he was there to answer any questions we had. The night of the wedding he checked in with us to make sure we were all good with the music and requests. He made our family and friends feel welcome. We had many guests tell us before and after the wedding that Nick was the best wedding DJ they ever heard. Amazing!!

ancing all night long just as we had asked! He was extremely kind and professional, checking in throughout the night to make sure it was all going as we wanted and easily bonding with and working with our other vendors to ensure things worked out perfectly. We have been told by many guests that attended that they've never danced at a wedding that much :)

our music incredibly easy and organized. Bobak delivered great music, seamless mixing, and kept the energy on the dance floor high throughout the evening. He balanced the volume perfectly and many of our guests were complimentary of the music throughout the night. We are extremely happy with our experience with DJ Bobak (and 617 Weddings) and would highly recommend!
